To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to Utah’s Government Records Access and Management Act (“GRAMA”), I hereby request the following records:
All records that pertain to the following entities:
-Republican Attorneys General Association ("RAGA")
-Rule of Law Defense Fund ("RLDF")
The scope of this request includes the Attorney General, any employee in the office of the attorney general that coordinates the attorney general's schedule, and any other employee within the Office of the Attorney General that communicates and/or participates in events and/or meetings with the Republican Attorneys General Association ("RAGA") and the Rule of Law Defense Fund ("RLDF"). The search for records should include emails, attachments (both sent and received), agendas, notes, minutes, scheduling records, text messages and material obtained in person at RAGA, RLDF events and/or meetings.
The search for records may be limited to those sent and received between March 1, 2017 and the date of your final response. Please exclude all press clips.
Please note that as a member of the Republican Attorneys General Association ("RAGA") and the Rule of Law Defense Fund ("RLDF"), the attorney general is acting in his official capacity. Please note that this request includes all emails sent and received on official state email accounts, as well as any other email accounts that have been used for official business.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

The Utah Attorney General's Office has completed processing your request under the Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA) submitted via email on October 4, 2017. Your request asks for copies of the following records: "[A]ll records that pertain to the following entities: -Republican Attorneys General Association ("RAGA") -Rule of Law Defense Fund." You asked for only records generated by our Executive Division between March 1, 2017 and the date of our response.
The Office found 37 pages of public records responsive to your request, which you will find attached. Two additional responsive emails (totaling 2 pages), and the information redacted from the attached records, have been classified "protected" attorney work product under Utah Code § 63G-2-305(18) and cannot be provided to you.
The Office has waived the fees for this request pursuant to Utah Code § 63G-2-203(4). Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
