To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am searching for any material that US-CERT may be in possession of regarding cyber efforts on behalf of white nationalist organizations including The Daily Stormer (please see attached documentation) against local, city, state, tribal governments. Please include any memos, digital recordings, and meeting logs on incidents that have been attributed to a white nationalist organization (including The Daily Stormer) between the years of 2015 - 2019.

The attached document is a TLP AMBER alert that was sent to a local Massachusetts police department which references unspecified "Cyber Threat Actor (CTA) operations" as a result of a previous FOIA request, and is followed by a section of redacted text which leads me to believe that there may be tracked cyber activity originating from white nationalist affiliated groups.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Emily Crose

From: Emily Crose

I would like to appeal the lack of findings that US-CERT has no information on white nationalist online organizing. The attachment in my original request is evidence that the Department of Homeland Security has records at least on the aforementioned group if not many more. There must be a source behind the warning that was sent by DHS to local law enforcement.
