Pursuant to the Alaska Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
This request seeks any and all written or electronic communications, including attachments, between BLM official Donna Wixon and any agent, representative or executive affiliated with SAExploration Inc., an oilfield exploration company seeking to conduct work in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. This request seeks records produced between April 1, 2018 and the date this request is processed.
I am a reporter for Pacific Standard magazine.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

The BLM Alaska Public Room forwarded the below "Alaska Public Records Act
request" to the FOIA today:
"any and all written communications, including attachments, between BLM

I am writing to provide you with the status of your FOIA
request BLM-2018-01141.
First, there are records being posted on a monthly basis regarding seismic
exploration in the Coastal Plain. Some of those records will likely
include communications to and from Ms. Wixson.
Second, the FOIA office has collected responsive records from Ms. Wixson
and is reviewing those records at this time. Upon conclusion of the FOIA
office review, the records will be sent to the solicitor for review.
Please feel free to touch base with us in 2 weeks when we expect to have
additional information about the status of this request for you.
