It's unclear what further clarity you're requesting. I am asking your agency to search the e-mail account of Wendy Teramoto for messages to or from Kris Kobach. You don't need to search multiple employees or go desk to desk. Just search Wendy Teramoto's e-mail messages from January 20, 2017 to the present date. A search for the term "Kobach" should turn up any responsive records.

From: Department of Commerce

Hi Mr. Hoppock,

We were wondering if you would want to give us some search terms, words, names of persons, etc.

If you don't that is OK.

We will process as is.
Thanks,
Bobbie

From: Matthew Hoppock

Yes, I am asking that the e-mail account of Wendy Teramoto be searched for any e-mail messages from Kris Kobach dating back to January 20, 2017. A search using the keyword "kobach" would likely capture all of the responsive e-mail messages. If you could the search for "kobach" in her e-mail account from January 20, 2017 to the present, that would be sufficient to respond to my request. Thank you.

From: Department of Commerce
