This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Documents related to the operations of federal websites during the government shutdown. Specifically:
1) Memos and shutdown plans addressing the operation of this agency's websites during a government shutdown
2) Any cost-benefit analyses related to the operation of this agency's website during a government shutdown
3) Any security analyses related to the operation of this agency's website during a government shutdown
4) Annual budget documents showing the costs of operating of this agency's website
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

This is regarding your February 5, 2014, email seeking a status update for your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for documents related to the operation of the website during the government shutdown.
At this time, program staff are continuing to search for records responsive to your request. Since your request has several parts, we are working with various program staff so that all programs which could reasonably be expected to have records are conducting searches. Once all searches are complete, any responsive records will be sent to our office and will be placed in our first-in, first-out processing queue. Once your request is at the front of the queue, it will undergo a thorough review and a final response will be sent to you as quickly as possible.
