From: Matthew Hoppock

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Recent FOIA responses have revealed that multiple different versions of the final decision in Matter of Castro-Tum have been posted to the EOIR's website on May 17, 2018 and May 18, 2018. It appears at least three different versions were uploaded on May 17, 2018. The original version was missing sentences and had to be edited by BIA staff members and then re-uploaded. A third version was uploaded later on the 17th to include headnotes written by the DOJ's office of legal counsel. Finally, the metadata contained in the current version on the EOIR's site says it was last edited on May 18, 2018 making it the fourth iteration we are aware of.

Accordingly, we are requesting both (1) each version of the decision in Matter of Castro-Tum provided by the Office of Legal Counsel or the Office of Attorney General to the Executive Office of Immigration Review, and (2) each version of the decision in Matter of Castro-Tum that the EOIR has uploaded to its website.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Matthew Hoppock
