VAWA Confidentiality Report Outcomes and Fines Assessed since 1.1.2017

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

1. To the extent that the agency maintains a report/database/spreadsheet of the complaints filed alleging a violation of the VAWA confidentiality provisions of 8 USC 1367 by a DHS employee since January 1, 2017, a copy of that report/database/spreadsheet. The record we are requesting would list the number of complaints and the outcomes in those cases. I am not requesting any exempt information and do not want the names or identifying information of the people who filed these complaints. Primarily I am researching what happens to these complaints at CRCL, how many of these complaints have been substantiated, what happens once the complaints are substantiated etc. Assuming you keep a record, database, or spreadsheet that tracks this information, including annual statistics, that is the record or set of records I am requesting.

2. The records that list the fees imposed under 8 USC 1367 against DHS employees since January 1, 2017.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
