To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

All documents on, about or concerning Usaamah Abdullah Rahim, aka Usaama Rahim, who was killed on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 by members of the Boston Joint Terrorism Task Force. Proof of death is not required since his death has been reported widely.

As reported by The Boston Globe (see https://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2015/06/02/boston-police-officer-shoots-and-wounds-man-roslindale/Akg16CkZJa719BLrBGFOdL/story.html): "A man under round-the-clock surveillance by an anti-terrorism task force was shot and killed Tuesday by a Boston police officer and FBI agent when he lunged at them with a menacing military knife, according to police. The shooting sparked an expanded investigation that quickly led to an arrest in Everett and a search in Rhode Island. Usaama Rahim, 26, had made threats against law enforcement, according to two law enforcement officials with knowledge of the case. "

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,
