Good morning Ms. Emerson:
Thank you for your inquiry on the status of your FOIA request. Searching for and producing records may take additional time, especially with a significant backlog. Currently you are number 49 in my queue, although I do work on multiple requests simultaneously in order to keep things moving.

In your case, a records search still needs to be conducted; I will then review the results of the search, apply any redactions as appropriate, draft a final response letter, and route the letter for signature. Once those steps are complete, I will email the final package to you.
Hope that helps!
Best,
Meg

Good afternoon Ms. Emerson:
Your request is currently number 43 in my queue. As written, the request is quite broad ("...between US Forest Service staff and the following lobbyists..."). Which Forest Service staff are you interested in - for example, the Director of Legislative Affairs; the Chief; etc. - ? This information will help us conduct an effective search. Also please provide the domain for the lobby firm (for example, @bhfs.com).

Thanks for your assistance in clarifying the search terms, and for your patience!
Best regards,
Meg
