U.S. Air Force contracts with Central Arizona Detention Center

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

All contracts and their amendments entered into by the U.S. Air Force (including any division of its component elements) for the Central Arizona Detention Center (https://corrections.az.gov/location/111/central-arizona-correctional-facility-cacf)

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I have been asked to clarify this request. Please provide contracts for Central Arizona Detention Center associated with the following entities:

• Travis Air Force Base
• Reginald Pascua
• Luke Air Force Base
• Davis-Monthan Air Force Base

A representative of the Air Force has informed me that specific identification of contract numbers, etc. is difficult for those uninvolved with a contract, even for those attempting to determine such information from within the Air Force. This being the case, should the FOIA Officer processing this request come across other Central Arizona Detention Center contracts/MOUs that may fall outside the parameters I have now provided but which would be responsive to my request for "all contracts," the inclusion of these documents is desired and would be greatly appreciated.
