Ms. Lipton,

This is an update regarding your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request
with the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR). We
have granted your request and I have attached to this email our response
letter. Unfortunately, I am encountering technical difficulties at the moment,
and I am unable to attach the responsive documents to this email. If you would
like I can attempt to send them on Monday, after I have worked with the IT
department to resolve this issue. Or if you would like to provide a physical
address I could send you a hard copy of the documents.

Regards,

Have a lovely afternoon,

Hello Ms. Kroot,

I noticed that U.S. AID's response was included online [https://www.sigar.mil/pdf/special%20projects/SIGAR-15-44-SP.pdf], though these answers were not included in the materials I received in response to this request. Can you illuminate the reasons for this and provide any additional materials that might exist?

Thanks for your help!
Beryl

Ms. Lipton,

Thank you for your question. On May 6, 2015, you requested:

"Materials provided to the Office of the Special Inspector General for
Afghanistan Reconstruction by Acting Administrator Lenhardt and the U.S.
Agency for International Development in response to the March 27, 2015 Inquiry
Letter sent to that office by John F. Sopko, Special Inspector General for
Afghanistan Reconstruction
(http://www.sigar.mil/pdf/special%20projects/SIGAR-15-44-SP.pdf)".

Besides the records provided to you on June 9, 2015, and those proactively
disclosed on our public website at the link contained in your request, we do
not have any additional records responsive to your request. Because your
request contained a link to USAID's formal response, which is publicly
available on our website, we interpreted your request as being only for
records that had not been proactively disclosed to the public.

Thank you,

Alexis Kroot
