From: Christopher Tidmarsh

Hello,

I am writing with regards to FOIA request #2022-00397-FOIA-OS.

Since Paul Alexander and Michael Caputo both worked for HHS, I would assume the domain name for their email addresses would be hhs.gov. So I think it would be best to use that domain to search for the email in question.

Also, if it helps you locate the email, the subject line of the email in question is "RE: Fauci says now today on news that vaccine will not get us to HERD alone...that means intuitively that means we need infected people" [sic].

However, I'm confused why you would need the domain names of the two individuals. You told me the information you needed to locate the records was as follows:

(1) The agencies, offices, or individuals involved;
(2) The approximate date(s) when the records were created;
(3) The subject, title, or description of the records sought; and
(4) Author, recipient, case number, file designation, or other reference number, if
available.

I satisfied points #1 and #4 by providing the names of both the sender and the recipient, and point #2 by providing the date the email was sent, and point #3 by providing an exact quote from the text of the email that you can plug into a search function to locate the email in question. I'm confused why I would need to provide the domain name of the sender's and recipient's email addresses when you have the other information, and given none of the four points specify you need the domain name of the sender's and recipient's email addresses.

If you could please clarify this for me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Sincerely,
Christopher Tidmarsh
