Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

1. All significant incident reports (SIRs) and significant event notifications (SENs) between December 14, 2018 and July 7, 2019 regarding the ongoing investigation into the death of 7-year-old migrant girl Jakelin Caal in Customs and Border Protection;
2. All materials relied upon by DHS-OIG in the ongoing investigation into the death of Jakelin Caal, including, but not limited to, photographs, interview notes, and electronic or paper communications;
3. Department of Homeland Security agency components, including, but not limited to, ICE, CBP, and Immigrant Health Services Corps, between December 14 and July 7, 2019 regarding the death of Jakelin Caal;
3. All follow-up communications from OIG to any DHS agency component or Congressional liaison regarding the death of Jakelin Caal between December 14, 2018 and July 7, 2019;
4. All communications between OIG and subject-matter experts, including, but not limited to, public health officials regarding the death of Jakelin Caal, between December 14, 2018 and July 7, 2019.

I am requesting these documents as a journalist who has been covering immigration issues for the last five years at The Atlantic.
