This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Unclassified imagery taken by U-2 aircraft, and stored within the databases at 480th ISR Wing of the following locations: Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, Holloman AFB, New Mexico, Vandenberg AFB, California, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Please search databases or physical records back to the 1980s for unclassified, releasable imagery of these locations.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

This is a second acknowledgement for receipt of your 4 December 2013 Freedom of Information Act request for unclassified imagery taken by U-2 aircraft and stored within the databases at 480th ISR Wing of the following locations: Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, Holloman AFB, New Mexico, Vandenberg AFB, California, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The Air Combat Command has assumed responsibility for your FOIA request.
Your fee waiver has been denied because Mudrock has been placed in the "Commercial" category by the Secretary of the Air Force FOIA office; therefore, before we can proceed with your request, you need to provide clarification that you are willing to pay all fees. Also, you need to provide a maximum amount. The OPR for the records are preparing an estimated cost for searching. Your case has been place on hold until we get clarification for your agreement to pay fees. If we don't hear from you by 16 December 2013 your case will be closed. Search will most likely be completed by junior enlisted personnel, see cost on attached DD Form 2086.
