Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Copies of any and all application materials submitted by lead applicants through the application portal to the FAA's Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration Pilot Program between November 8, 2017, and Jan. 4, 2018.
I am a reporter for The Trace, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit news organization. I am making this request through MuckRock, which I use to better track and streamline my public records requests. The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Dear Mr. Freskos:
This letter responds to your April 2, 2018, FOIA request seeking copies of any and all application materials submitted by lead applicants through the application portal to the FAA's Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration Pilot Program between November 8, 2017, and Jan. 4, 2018.
The Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Integration Office interprets the term "applications" as proposals since applications were not required. The UAS Integration Office conducted a thorough search and located seven pages of records that we found to be responsive to this request. After further review of these records, it has been determined that these records are not releasable and are being withheld in their entirety, pursuant to FOIA Exemption 3.
I kindly ask that your acknowledge receipt of this email and its contents.
