Good morning,

Treasury Departmental Offices processes FOIA requests in a multi-track system, which identifies a request as simple or complex, and generally processes each request on a first-in, first-out basis. Your request is considered complex. During the last fiscal year, complex requests were processed on average within 347 business days. Based upon this, I estimate we should have been able to complete your request by May 15, 2020. However, the amount of time that will be required to process requests varies greatly and depends on a number of factors including how many offices or custodians will need to be searched, whether the records you have requested are easily accessible, whether the records are electronic or hard copies, the volume of records located, the classification level of the records, and whether or not consultations with other Federal agencies are required. We continue to diligently search for potentially responsive records.

I apologize for any inconvenience you may be experiencing.
