To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Records relating to or mentioning Thomas Kennerly Wolfe Jr. (March 2, 1930 – May 14, 2018), who was an American author and journalist widely known for his association with New Journalism, a style of news writing and journalism developed in the 1960s and 1970s.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
There are eFOIA files available for you to download.
I am appealing the integrity of the search, including but not limited to the Bureau's apparent failure to perform the requested searches of separate indices, and the failure to search for cross-references (as indicated by the Bureau's note that it failed to find main file records).
