To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
I am a writer and researcher regarding immigration issues. I am making this request on behalf of DocuFreedom Inc. a Kansas non-profit organization. My intention in obtaining these records is to publish them for public access and transparency and do not intend to use them for profit.
To that end I am requesting the following:
1. Any e-mail messages from the following custodians to any e-mail address ending in "@techmis.com":
Vern Elizee
Kathryn Mattingly
Lou Ruffino
I am not requesting the agency search by keyword. Rather, I am requesting all e-mail messages to or from these DOJ custodians.
The date range is any time between August 1, 2018 and August 29, 2019.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Matthew Hoppock
