DearMr. Hodapp We received yourFreedom of Information Act (FOIA) an email concerning your original request of 22May 2018, for copies of all documents related to records of beach violationsduring snowy plover nesting season at Surf Beach, located on Vandenberg AirForce Base property, including violation reports and any list which includesthe names of those who have violated beach access rules instituted during snowyplover season from the year 2016 to present. I received and email of your requeston 26 March 2020. I am not sure why ittook this long to finally get to the VAFB RSC, but I will be processing yourrequest once we clarify a few items. I see that yousent a status update request to the USAF SAF FOIA Office on 4 March 2020 so Iwill take email as a confirmation that you are still interested in processingthis FOIA request you originally filed with them on 22 May 2018. Since your original request timeline was 22May 2018 to present, would you like to adjust your timeline or shall we go with22 May 2018 to 26 March 2020? I amsending this email request to the email you had on file. Once you respond, that will be how wecorrespond from this point on, unless you want hard copies sent to MuckRockNews, ATTN: Mr. Michael Hodapp, DEPT MR54649, 411A Highland Ave, Somerville MA 02144-2516. May I suggest that you agree to pay fees of $25.00 and to be informed ifthe estimated fees exceed your limit? Thisis the perfect amount to agree with as I can waive fees of $25.00 or less. This way, we do not have to place yourrequest on hold again while we seek your acceptance of FOIA related fees and wecan acknowledge your approval to pay related FOIA fees in the system. We also have the option of sending responsivedocuments (if located) through the DoD SAFE Exchange so there would be no duplication cost assessed.
