To Whom It May Concern:

I wanted to follow up on the following Freedom of Information request, copied below, and originally submitted on July 9, 2013. Please let me know when I can expect to receive a response, or if further clarification is needed. You had assigned it reference number #13-00475-F.

Thank you for your help.

From: Drug Enforcement Administration

The request has been rejected as being too vague, burdensome or otherwise unprocessable.

Ms. Myrick,

This is in regard to FOIA request 13-00475-F. I have received your letter of 29 August 2013 indicating that this request for theft or loss reports was overly burdensome. However, this request is identical to a recently fulfilled request (13-00238-F) for the exact same records, save for the date range -- this request is for 2013 records, while 13-00238-F was for the same records from 2012.

Please clarify why this request has been rejected as overly burdensome, while an identical request for 2012 was fulfilled without any clarification whatsoever.

Thank you,
Shawn Musgrave
