Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Investigative records on the 2003 slammer worm which broke out and began attacking Microsoft SQL servers. These records would likely exist between the dates of January 2002 and January 2006.
Please also include any records which may be responsive to internal impact from this worm and how it may have been remediated on FBI systems.
Please also see the attached news story which goes into some detail on the event.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
