To whom it may concern,

This is a clarification for FOIA request F-2016-00670.

I am asking for:

A listing of all the Slack team domains, channels names, and channel descriptions that are in use within the Department of State.

A Slack team can be accessed through the URL pattern of "[team-name].slack.com", and I would like a listing of all these domains. For example, "state.slack.com" could be a possible domain in use.

Channels are where messages are posted and have a name starting with '#' and a description of the topic of the channel. I would like a list of all of the channels and their descriptions from each Slack team in use.

I am asking for this request because of a recent article in The Atlantic that quoted Slack CEO Stuart Butterfield, who said State Department are all experimenting with using Slack for internal communication. - http://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2016/01/are-slack-messages-subject-to-foia-requests/429243/

Please let me know if you need any other information.

Regards,

Gregory Otto
