We require clarification regarding your request. This is not an area that the Commission is generally involved in. Were there any particular records you were searching for? Also, which bureaus/offices of the Commission would you like us to search? A list of bureaus and offices can be found at https://www.fcc.gov/about-fcc/organizational-charts-fcc. Please let us know how you would like to proceed no later than April 8, 2016. If we do not hear from you by then, we will assume you are no longer interested in this request and will close it as withdrawn.
We note that your request was not properly filed with the Commission. Section 0.461(c) of the Commission’s rules requires that a FOIA request be mailed to the Managing Director, sent via e-mail to foia@fcc.gov<mailto:foia@fcc.gov>, filed electronically through the Commission’s website at http://www.fcc.gov/foia, or faxed to 202-418-2826 or 202-418-0521. You sent your request directly to a Commission staff person. While generally we attempt to channel such misdirected requests into the FOIA system, your request was intercepted by the Commission’s junk e-mail filter, and thus your request was not noticed by the staff person until today.
