Dear Ms. Blake, Ms. Carr:

Thank you for your response and for pointing me to other Defense agencies to separately make this request, which I will do.

I wanted to address your placing me in the Category of "Other" requesters, and to request that you kindly correct your records to register me as a member of the news media, and neither "Commercial," nor "Other."

For evidence of my ongoing publications, please visit my websites DelphiQuarterly.com, everydayconcerned.net, and ramolad.com, which also list books, articles, and essays published in various journals and through various publishing houses. Everydayconcerned.net is a solutions-journalism web site which records and posts news on a regular and ongoing basis, including information obtained from FOIA requests.

This FOIA request asks for information of public concern, is being requested on a public news site, and will be available freely to all members of the news media and the public for open analysis and dissemination. As a trained journalist and writer with active, non-commercial, informational websites, I will also be making all information obtained through this request freely available to the public. I hope this information is sufficient to establish my status as a media requester. Should you have further questions, please let me know.

Thanks very much for your attention.
