Communications
From: Daniel Boguslaw
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
In 2013 the FTC filed a complaint against the largest funeral services provider in the country Service Corporation International. As a result, SCI agreed to divest 53 funeral homes and 38 cemeteries to meet the FTC's requirements. I am then requesting any and all documents, communications and memorandum related to SCI's divestiture after the time of the initial complaint. I am particularly interested in documents that demonstrate SCI complied with the FTC's mandate and fully divested all listed assets.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. As a member of the news media and a journalist for The American Prospect I would request that all associated fees be waved.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.
I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Daniel Kaufman

Mr. Kaufman,
I am not sure if you received my previous email to you, providing the status of your request and asking for additional information. If you are news media, you still need to provide a fee agreement or request a fee waiver. I have provided the entirety of that previous email here:
