This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

All cables and reports from the Regional Security Officer (RSO) at the U.S. embassy in Tokyo, Japan, from the date of February 16th to the date of February 19th, 2009.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for the response. I am looking for any cables or reports originating from the Regional Security Officer (RSO) stationed at the U.S. embassy in Tokyo, Japan. Specifically, I am looking for cables or reports from the aforementioned RSO, regarding breaches of diplomatic or security protocols by any U.S. embassy staff or State Department personnel in Tokyo, which took place between the dates of February 16, and February 19, 2009.

I checked the status of this case and it was closed on 10-20-2016. You were informed of this in the letter that was sent to you on that date. The letter explained why the case is closed.
