Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
The FBI file for Roy Marshall Huggins regarding his membership in the Communist Party USA in the 1940s, and his cooperation with the FBI investigation of the Communist Party, including being a friendly witness for HUAC on 9/29/1952. Any documents relating to his cooperation in the deportation case of Harry Carlisle by the INS for being an alien member of the Communist Party. Huggins refers to a 99 page FBI file he received when he requested his own FBI file in the 1990s, and this is the file I am requesting.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
