This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

1. Any and all information on whether or not Rod Rosenstein, U.S. Attorney for Maryland launched any investigation into the alleged "sweetheart deal" given to convicted swindler Gilbert Sapperstein in 2005 by the MD. State Prosecutor, Robert Rohrbaugh, in which Sapperstein was sentenced to 18 months in a Maryland State Prison, handcuffed and escorted from the MD. Courthouse in the custody of the State of MD., Sapperstein mysteriously disappeared for approximately 30 days and then magically reappeared at his personal residence to spend the balance of his 18 month prison sentence in the comfort of his personal residence. Gilbert Sapperstein, managed to steal an estimated $3.5 million from the Baltimore School Board over an approx. 10 year period of time while allegedly under investigation by the FBI, DOJ, IRS,SEC,etc

2. Any documents that pertain to a telephone conversation between MD. Assistant U.S. Attorney George Russell III and a Jensen Beach, FL. man pertaining to a Gilbert Sapperstein (deceased 2016), Charles Richard Longo Sr.(deceased 2011) and their associates.

3. Any Maryland U.S. Dept. of Justice documents pertaining to and/or visits to the website www.marylandcorruption.com

4. Any MD. U.S. Dept. of Justice documents pertaining to any DOJ investigation launched as a result of the publication of the Abell Report:
Underground video gambling industry costing Maryland
more than $15 million annually in uncollected taxes.

5. Any USDOJ documents pertaining to the alleged personal and/or political ties between former MD. Attorney General, Joseph Curran Jr. and Gilbert Sapperstein.

6. Any USDOJ documents pertaining to the alleged personal and/or political ties between former U.S. Attorney for Maryland, Lynne Battaglia and Gilbert Sapperstein.

7. Any USDOJ documents pertaining to any alleged personal and/or political ties between
U.S. Attorney for Maryland, Rod Rosenstein and Gilbert Sapperstein.

8. Any Maryland U.S. Attorney office white papers or documents that would help clarify the meaning and difference between the three following phrases; white collar organized crime, organized crime, and transnational organized crime.

9. Any USDOJ vetting of Rod Rosenstein for U.S. Attorney for Maryland.

10. A copy of any oath Rod Rosenstein signed when he was sworn in as U.S. Attorney for Maryland.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is also being made for commercial purposes.
