This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

Materials relating to Robert Aime Maheu (October 30, 1917 – August 4, 2008). Robert Maheu was a lawyer and counterintelligence professional who notably worked for FBI and Howard Hughes. He also worked with CIA, using his ties to organized crime to facilitate operations in Cuba including attempts to remove or otherwise disempower the Castro regime. His death in 2008 has been widely reported by publications such as The Washington Post http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/08/05/AR2008080503239.html

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
