To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

* Any risk mitigation/awareness documents pursuant to the potential landing of astronauts in the Boeing Starliner Capsule (aka CST-100) at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) in NM given the ranges active use and risk of the capsule landing on any Unexploded Ordinance (UXO) and detonating it.
* Any risk mitigation/awareness documents pursuant to the potential risk of post landing crews with regards to UXO on WSMR.

I am asking for the documents to understand the potential risk to human life that is presented by the UXO on the range given the inaccuracies presented by a non-aerodynamic parachute landing of the CST-100 spacecraft and how the risk of UXO would affect the post landing crews from accessing the craft in a timely manner.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Mark Duane
