This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

A copy of all responses sent to Congressional committees between Jan.1, 2008 and the date that this request is processed. These communications are stored together and should be easily accessible.

Re: FOIA-2013-04461

Dear Morisy:

This office is in receipt of your May 6, 2013 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request seeking all responses to Congressional committees from 2008 to-date.

As this office operates in the appellate capacity, we refer initial requests to the program or field office that maintains the information. Therefore, your request is being referred to the Office of the Executive Secretariat for initial FOIA processing. That office will respond directly to you with their initial FOIA review, fee assessment and disclosure determinations. Any questions or inquiries should be directed to (202) 205-6833.

Please feel free to contact me on (202) 401-8203 or at foia@sba.gov<mailto:foia@sba.gov> if you have any questions.

From: Lynch, Rick A.

Hi, Mr. Morisy:

We have calculated that processing your FOIA request (see below) would result in fees of approximately $2,500 to $3,000. The request covers at least 200 separate reports that range in length from 75 pages to 300 pages.

Please contact me to let me know how you'd like to proceed.

Thanks,

Rick

Apologies for the delayed response. Would narrowing this request to cover letters of such reports and narrowing it to the last three years substantially reduce the work and cost involved?

Thanks.

From: Lynch, Rick A.

Hi:

I am working on this request now.

Cover letters on these reports go out to multiple recipients on each case. In other words, an identical letter will go out to three or more reps for each report.

I presume you need only one letter per report? Or do you need each letter for each report?

Let me know.
