To Whom It May Concern at the Miami EEOC Office - http://www.eeoc.gov/field/miami/ :

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

Seeking a certified copy of:

(1) any and all correspondence between the Miami EEOC office and Naples Attorney Adria Silva; such correspondent may include email or mail between Adria Silva and Miami EEOC Attorney Nora Curtin and Miami EEOC Investigator Jose Camejo or any other EEOC official; and

(2) any and all documents your office may still have on file with respect to my June 2005 EEOC age discrimination complaint against Collier County Public School District, which resulted in a "Right to Sue" letter issued to me by your agency. The "Agency Charge No." is the following: 150-2005-02859

Below are excerpts of email from Naples Attorney Adria Silva, showing she had contact with an EEOC Attorney.

The requested public record certified documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Susan Alyn

Susan-

....Attached is a copy of the request made to the EEOC for the investigation file. ... I made the request to the EEOC attorney Nora Curtin pursuant to Chapter 83 of the EEOC Compliance Manual, not the FOIA. Investigator Jose Camejo sent me the file. You can contact Mr. Camejo or Ms. Curtin to verify that they sent a complete and accurate copy of the investigation file in accordance with EEOC procedure.

The EEOC usually charges for making copies of the investigation file, but provided it free of charge....

Finally, if you want to verify that the EEOC file is a true and accurate copy of the investigation file, you can re-request a copy of the EEOC investigation file from the EEOC or you can contact Ms. Curtin or Mr. Camejo.

Dear Ms. Curtin:

I represent Susan Alyn. Pursuant to Chapter 83 of the EEOC compliance manual, Ms. Alyn requests a copy of the investigation file in the above referenced matter. A copy of this request will follow by U.S. mail.

Ms. Alyn filed her charge of discrimination in approximately June 2005 and the EEOC issued a Notice of Right to Sue in approximately December 2005. Upon information and belief, the charge was dually filed with the Florida Commission on Human Relations (FCHR) in accordance with the EEOC/FCHR work share agreement.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Thank you in advance for your time and cooperation.
