Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Records relating to or mentioning deceased BOP inmate Carmine John Persico, Jr. who had inmate number 74666-158 and was last held at FCI Butner.
This request includes all investigative files and data gathered mentioning his name.
Persico is reported deceased as of March 2019, as confirmed by the NY Daily News article attached; Privacy Act concerns are therefore diminished.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

This message is to reiterate my interest in the processing of my FOIA request, and a plea for some form of update. My FOIA request, was for Bureau of Prisons records related to subject Carmine Persico, submitted March 2019. It was assigned FOIA/PA Request Number: 2019-04023.
Reviewing the history of this request, it was issued almost two years ago, in March 2019. I have not received any word from the Mid-Atlantic Regional office or any other office of the Bureau of Prisons regarding this matter since May 2019. There has been no update as to estimated pagecount or cost.
Please provide an update to the status of the search for records, any estimates of pagecount or cost, forthwith.
