This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Copies of all processing notes for #F-2015-00903, an FOIA request I submitted seeking information/records on Bernard Fensterwald. This is a link to his obituary: http://www.nytimes.com/1991/04/04/obituaries/bernard-fensterwald-69-lawyer-for-james-ray-and-watergate-spy.html
I request that the CIA provide the specific CIA regulation or regulations under which the CIA destroyed the records I requested. I request that the CIA cite the specific part or aspect of the NARA-approved destruction schedule or schedules the CIA relied upon in making the decision to destroy the records I requested.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
