To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

Copies of all records/information on E. Howard Hunt, the former CIA employee who served time in prison for his role in Watergate. Here is a link to Mr. Hunt's obituary: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/01/24/obituaries/24hunt.html?pagewanted=all

I request copies of pre-released material, such as the material on Hunt in The Vault. I also request material on Hunt that has not yet been released by the FBI.

I'm the author of jfkresearch.me, a blog on the Kennedy assassination.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

John Kirsch

From: John Kirsch

I also request copies of any information/records pertaining to the physical location of E. Howard Hunt on or around Nov. 22, 1963.

From: Federal Bureau of Investigation

A cover letter granting the request and outlining any exempted materials, if any.

From: John Kirsch

The FBI's response, dated 5/22/2015, is not fully responsive to my FOIA. I asked for new material on E. Howard Hunt, not just material in the Vault. I also requested information about Hunt's whereabouts on 11/22/1963. The bureau's response says nothing about my requests for new material and Hunt's location in November 1963. If a response on these two points is not forthcoming I will file an appeal. John Kirsch
