To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

Copies of all releasable correspondence between Douglas P. Horne and the CIA pertaining to the publication of two books by Horne.

Horne is is co-author of "JFK's War with the National Security Establishment: Why Kennedy Was Assassinated," published in a Kindle edition in September 2014.

He is also author of "Inside the Assassination Records Review Board," self-published in November 2009.

I request copies of all correspondence between Horne and the CIA in the two years leading up to the publication of each of the previously-mentioned books, and correspondence between Horne and the CIA for the two years after the publication of each of the previously-mentioned books.

Horne served in the U.S. Navy and on the Assassination Records Review Board, which reviewed documents pertaining to the assassination of President Kennedy.

I'm the author of a blog on the assassination, jfkresearch.me

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

John Kirsch
