To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request copies of the following records: correspondence between the CIA and John McAdams pertaining to "JFK Assassination Logic: How to Think about Claims of Conspiracy," a book by McAdams that was published in 2011.

McAdams has been a professor of political science at Marquette University in Milwaukee. In December 2014 he was placed on indefinite academic leave.

McAdams maintains The Kennedy Assassination Home Page on the web.

I request copies of correspondence for the two years prior to publication of McAdams' book and two years after publication.

I'm the author of a blog on the Kennedy assassination, jfkresearch.me

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

John Kirsch
