Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

The complete email thread between former CDC science adviser Paul Alexander and former HHS assistant secretary for public affairs Michael Caputo that contains Mr. Alexander's email to Mr. Caputo on July 4, 2020 in which he states, "Infants, kids, teens, young people, young adults, middle aged with no conditions etc. have zero to little risk…so we use them to develop herd…we want them infected…"

The email in question is referenced in the following news article in Politico:

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/12/16/trump-appointee-demanded-herd-immunity-strategy-446408

According to the article, the email was obtained by the House Oversight Committee's select subcommittee on coronavirus.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
