Reports, memos, communications and transcripts from inspections of Chimp Haven Inc.

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

All memos, reports, emails, electronic communications, interview transcripts, photographs and other records gathered during inspections of Chimp Haven Inc. since January 1, 2021.

According to USDA records posted online, the department conducted four or more inspections of 13600 CHIMPANZEE PLACE KEITHVILLE, LA 71047 during that time period. The reports cite several critical errors and document interviews with staff before and after inspections, which ultimately led to the relicensing of the facility at the end of 2022. I ask for the release of all records gathered during that process.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
