To Whom It May Concern:
This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I request that a copy of the following document(s) be provided to me:
All records concerning the receivership of Kevin Trudeau and his affiliated companies (including, but not limited to, Website Solutions, Global Information Network, Trudeau Approved Products, and KTRadioNetwork), principally located at 130 Quail Ridge Dr, Westmont, IL, in the years 2011-2014, including all memos, emails, and contracts between the Federal Trade Commission and the appointed receiver, Robb Evans & Associates LLC.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
An acknowledgement letter, stating the request is being processed.
Thank you for contacting the Freedom of Information Act Office at the Federal Trade Commission. When you are available, I would like to discuss the scope of your request relating to the receivership of Kevin Trudeau. As it stands, your request could include as responsive any record that references the receivership in this case, which could be voluminous. I would like to get a better idea of the specific type of records you are interested in, so that I may narrow my search to include only those records that are of most interest to you.
At your earliest convenience, please contact me at (202) 326-2836.
