Your FOIA request was forwarded to the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library
for a response. I have attached the official
response to your FOIA request for transcripts between President Trump and
Putin.
As explained in the letter, Trump Presidential records are governed by the Presidential
Records Act, as amended
<https://www.archives.gov/about/laws/presidential-records.html> and
are not subject to FOIA requests until five years after the end of a
presidential administration. Trump Presidential records will be subject to
FOIA beginning on January 20, 2026.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Anna Yallouris
