This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Please provide: the names of School Districts that underwent or continue to undergo disability discrimination complaint and compliance investigations ; the statute and regulatory scope for each complaint and compliance investigation; the beginning and ending (if available) dates of investigations; and, a digital copy of each Final Resolution Agreement signed for each complaint resolved by the Boston Regional Office of Civil Rights, U.S. Department of Education, between January 1, 2009- January 20, 2011.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

For the time period January 1, 2009 through January 20, 2011, for all disability-related OCR cases that went to investigation, please provide in .pdf format:
-copies of the Final Resolution letter(s) and
-all other agreements, including Appendices, that are involved in bringing the entities into compliance.
We appreciate that this will contain:
- the names and addresses of entities;
- a summary of the nature of the issues being investigated; and
- citations for all legal questions involved.
We further appreciate that this will involve redaction of any personal ID information regarding complainants; and that, if other information is redacted, we will be provided information regarding the nature of those deletions, along with information about how we may appeal those decisions.
