Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
An account of prostitution-related offenses that were prosecuted by the Queens District Attorney's office between January 1, 2012 and June 15, 2018, to include any of the following charges:
Prostitution (230.00)
Unauthorized Practice (6512)
Unauthorized Use of a Professional Title (6513)
Loitering for Prostitution (240.37)
Sex Trafficking (230.36)
Patronizing a Person for Prostitution (230.06; 23.05; 230.04)
Aggravated Patronizing Of a Person for Prostitution (230.11; 230.12; 230.13)
Promoting Prostitution (230.20; 230.25; 230.30; 230.32)
Compelling Prostitution (230.33)
And for each prosecution:
- the charges faced by that defendant
- the offer
- the outcome (including ACD's and cases in which the defendant was referred to the human trafficking intervention court)
- the defendant's gender
- the defendant's race
- the defendant's ethnicity
- the defendant's age
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
