Program 1033 aircraft, armored vehicle and weapons requests

To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

Spreadsheets or summary tables of all requests for aircraft, armored vehicles and weapons under Program 1033.

If summary tables/spreadsheets or other electronic databases of requests are not available, please provide copies of all requests for the above.

According to the DLA Disposition Services website, all requests are to be sent to DRMSLESO@dla.mil.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

So I don't forget, here's my summary of our phone call yesterday.

I concur to narrow this request to:

A listing by state of all disbursements of aircraft, armored vehicles and weapons disbursed under program 1033 for the past five years (beginning January 2008).

This listing is to include:

-Name of equipment
-Equipment description
-Number of items disbursed
-State of disbursement
-Acquisition value of disbursement
-Date of disbursement

Please confirm that this is your understanding, as well. As I recall, you were going to check on how difficult it will be to pull disbursements back to 2008.

Forgot to mention that I'd like an explanation also as to why "tactical equipment" is exempt to the extent that data cannot be released at the agency level.

Hi Judith,

The attached spreadsheet provided several months ago includes a number of cost entries seemingly unattached to items.

In the "ARCHIVED RECORDS" tab, row 55622 to row 55920 include an entry in the "TOTAL_COST" column but nothing in other columns. Can you advise as to whether the spreadsheet provided is missing remaining entries for these rows?
