From: Federal Bureau of Investigation
The request has been rejected, with the agency stating that the information or document(s) requested are exempt from disclosure.
From: Martin Peck
Claiming sensitivity for processing notes associated with a request is unsupported by precedent and law. I appeal this denial and demand release of the requested documents in full.
Consider the following affirmation by U.S. District Judge Randolph Moss:
"In rejecting the government's reliance on the "possible presence" of harm, Moss pointed to recent Supreme Court precedent warning "against permitting even substantial policy considerations to trump the plain language of the FOIA."
"There may be compelling reasons to authorize the FBI to withhold search slips and similar processing records," Moss wrote. "But the FOIA itself does not do so, and the FBI cannot act on the basis of an exemption ... that Congress has not provided."

07/15/2016 11:18 AM FOIA Request: DOJ-AP-2016-004204
From: OIP-NoReply@usdoj.gov
DOJ-AP-2016-004204 has been processed with the following final disposition: Affirmed on Appeal.
From: Martin Peck
Dear Sirs:
Regarding the final disposition erroneously claimed in FOIA Appeal No. DOJ-AP-2016-004204 : please observe the response to this appeal was devoid of any meaningful information regarding the justification for upholding a spurious claim to sensitivity or properly afforded protections in law.
The supposed deposition or affidavit in support of this vacant decree by one Matthew Hurd is tantamount to appeal to authority sans merit of any sort.
I demand appeal or at minimum proper justification of this incompetent disposition. Fallacies are insufficient basis for withholding responsive materials.
Best regards,
Martin Peck
