Dear Mr. Smathers:

Reference is made to your April 10, 2014 email, addressed to "EFOIA," in which you stated:

I wanted to follow up on the following Freedom of Information request, copied below, and originally submitted on Jan. 21, 2014. Please let me know when I can expect to receive a response, or if further clarification is needed. You had assigned it reference number #14-0186.

Thank you for your help.

The administrative record of the Subject FOIA request reflects that you and I earlier corresponded on several occasions regarding the status of this request, and that, under cover of my March 7, 2014 email, I delivered to you the FDIC's final response to this request. Note that the FDIC's March 7, 2014 email response was sent to the email address that you used in your February 8, 2014 email. As I did not receive any advice that the final response was undeliverable, I assumed that the FDIC's final response had been received by you.

I have attached a copy of the FDIC's March 7, 2014 final response to your request.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the FDIC's final response or if I may be of any further assistance to you in this matter.

Sincerely,

Hello,

The attachment has been received, but it does not open on all computers. Could you please resend in a universally accessible format?

Thank you!

From: Sussman, Jerry

Good morning, again, Mr. Smathers:

The final response to you was sent as an attachment to my March 7, 2014 email, just resent to you. The attachment was a letter, also dated March 7, 2014, in pdf format. I have attached that letter, again in pdf format.

The March 7, 2014 letter did not enclose any records. Rather, it provided links to responsive information that had been made publicly available, at no cost to you, on the FDIC's website, www.fdic.gov. Specifically, the March 7, 2014 letter stated, in pertinent part, "The FDIC's records search has been completed, and responsive records have been located. These records are now found among the “Popular FOIA Requests’" that are publicly available in the FDIC's electronic “Reading Room.” You may access to the FDIC's electronic Reading Room at: http://www.fdic.gov/about/freedom/readingroom.html (Direct link to responsive information: http://www.fdic.gov/about/freedom/travelreports.pdf )."

The "hyperlinks" were live in the letter earlier sent to you. In the event that they are not reproduced live, above, they are: http://www.fdic.gov/about/freedom/readingroom.html
and http://www.fdic.gov/about/freedom/travelreports.pdf As a further courtesy to you, I have attached to this email the website information, in pdf format.

I trust that you now will be able to access to the responsive information.
