Ms. Suzuki -

Per the attached letter, please see the FOIA request submitted below for the text of the request as originally submitted.

Per your response for number 1 and number 4, it seems that there was an encoding issue between the MuckRock fax client and CBP fax machines. The language below should include the unencoded language:

1) All communication between your agency and the CIA's Political Islam Strategic Analysis Program (PISAP) which operates under the CIA's Directorate of Intelligence (DI) including communication with any PISAP employee.
2) All Memorandum of Understanding between your agency and PISAP.
3) All records maintained by your agency that details how, when or why you would provide intelligence to PISAP.
4) All emails to or from the director of your agency which contain the term "PISAP"

Please confirm receipt and advise as to whether this addresses issues in interpreting the request.

Thank you.

Mr. Smathers: We have not forgotten about your request, nor are we ignoring it. As you probably realize, the request was complex and asked for several different types of records which, if they exist, would be located in different offices. As this is being written, several of those offices are continuing their searches for responsive records. When these searches have been completed, we will be able to provide you with our reply. In the meantime, we thank you for your patience. Should you have further questions, please do not hesitate to write.
