To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Records relating to or mentioning Peter D. Junger (1933 – November 2006), whose death has been widely reported. As such, proof of death is not required. However, due to your office's refusal to observe this part of the law (yes, it is the law, you silly geese), an obituary is attached for your convenience.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Emma Best

You once again sent this to the wrong address. You were supposed to send it to requests@muckrock.com. This was explicitly and repeatedly requested.

It is illegal to systematically send FOIA responses to the wrong address, you know that – right?

From: Federal Bureau of Investigation

Correspondence was sent to your attention at MuckRock.

At the wrong address.

Send it to the correct address. I can't simply send a FOIA request to the wrong office at FBI and then demand it be processed – this is no different.

Want to litigate it? Because I'd love to see you die on this hill (metaphorically speaking) and humiliated in front of a judge (literally speaking).
