Persona Management Software and Artificial Psychology (DARPA Contracts)

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

1. All contracts and subcontracts mentioning "persona management" dated between Jan. 1, 2008 and the date this request is ultimately processed.

2. All contracts and subcontracts mentioning "artificial psychology" dated between Jan. 1, 2008 and the date this request is ultimately processed.

3. All proposals, including the winning proposal, submitted to DARPA related to "persona management" and/or "artificial psychology" between the dates of Jan. 1, 2008 and the date this request is ultimately processed.

4. All correspondence with the winning contractor(s), including any documents delivered by the contractor in fulfillment of the contract(s), and any documents related to the use or planned use of the tools requested in the contract. Please be sure to include attachments to any emails.

When delivering the responsive documents related to this request, please also specifically certify that no other responsive documents exist beyond those provided by your agency as part of this request.

The requested information will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. Disclosure of the requested information to me is in the public interest because it is likely to contribute significantly to public understanding of the operations and/or activities of the government, and is not primarily in my commercial interest.

In order to help determine my status to assess fees, you should know that I am a freelance journalist whose work is published regularly by print and digital news outlets and magazines. As a member of the media, I request a waiver of all fees. In the event that there are fees, I am willing to pay up to $25 for the requested information. If the fee for this request exceeds this amount, please notify me in writing for permission prior to beginning work on the request.
