Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
This request is being submitted under the following statutes FOIA
FFATA and DATA.
Request for records within the Federal Bureau of Investigation, related to spending on the rollout of the 'what qualifies as a hate crime and how to report one.'
I was seeking the following:
Copies of any records of News Media sites that were targeted with pay-per-click advertising including but not limited to the www.dailymail.uk.
Copies of any internal memoranda including but not limited to discussions of ramifications of potentially favorable news coverage and improved media relations due to the spending campaign
Copies of all contracts for advertising
Copies of accounting for all monies spent for pay per click advertising as of the date of the request.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

The FBI's FOIPA Program is searching the FBI's indices for potentially responsive documents.

Estimated Dates of Completion
Requests are processed in the order in which they are received through our multi-track processing system. Requests are divided into two primary tracks--simple (under 50 pages of potentially responsive documents) and complex (over 50 pages of potentially responsive documents). Complex requests are further divided into medium, large, and extra-large sub-tracks based upon request size. Simple track requests typically require the least amount of time to process. Currently, simple track cases average approximately 111 days from the date of receipt for processing. Our complex requests in the medium processing track are currently averaging 895 days, large processing track are currently averaging approximately 1,929 days, and extra-large processing track are currently averaging 2,360 days for processing.
